Today, I want to share my new year resolution for 2020.
Out of the whole day and night cycle, out of the 24 hours, I’ll spend my time for the things below, uncompromisingly.
Mandatory Schedule (16 hours booked daily)
5 hours – Reading. Books & important articles (No internet surfing, or drift reading on internet).
1 hour – Workout/Walking & Mobility Exercises. Alternate days.
1 hour – Meditation (45 mins + 15 mins preparation and after glow).
9 hours – Sleep. I am a long sleeper. To recover best from workouts, I will sleep 9 hours daily, uninterrupted.
*For the above 16 hours, my phone will always be on DND.
‘Total Immersion’ is the name of the game.
If I can squeeze more in schedule
1 more hour – 10 hours of sleep instead of 9 hours as said above. Depends.
1 more hour – Reading, more.
1 hour – Gaming. It helps me relax.
1 hour – Intentional internet drifting.
1 hour – Watching TV series or Movies or Poker Videos or whatever.
Along with above, I have my daily business studies. Some days, friends and family obligations. Few days, client meetings regarding business operations.
But Wait. . .
Read the first line again. I said 2020. This is not my new year’s resolution for 2021; this is how I spent my time in 2020. Because of the time invested in the above way, drop by drop, each day, I have been able to add immense knowledge for me, for the well-being of people who are close to me, and for my business. I have been at my strongest ever in my life, and fittest too. Regarding meditation and mindfulness, everything is on a whole another level, I can’t explain!
To be true, this 2020 has been the happiest and my most content year in my whole life. There may have been some things which were missing, but that’s not the point. I have been able to spread my happiness with everyone who are present in my life. I thank the Omniscient Creator, for he has always been with me. Any gratitude is minuscule before His grace.
